Data Analytics Intern (Rolling Intake)

Your role

ADA Malaysia is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data and AI Intern to join the dynamic team. This intern will support their data management efforts, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of their data. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, excellent analytical skills, and a strong willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities

Data Cleaning

• Identify and correct errors in datasets.
• Standardize data formats and entries.
• Remove duplicate entries and inconsistencies.
• Perform data validation and verification tasks.

Data Processing

• Assist in the preparation and transformation of raw data for analysis.
• Create and maintain data processing scripts and workflows.
• Support the integration of data from various sources.
• Document data processing steps and procedures.

Data Analysis Support

• Assist in preliminary data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with the data team to identify data quality issues.

Collaboration

• Work closely with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to understand data requirements.
• Provide support in ad-hoc data projects and tasks.
• Communicate findings and progress regularly to the team.

About you

If you want to apply for this role, you need to meet the qualifications below:

• Education
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills
  • Basic understanding of data structures and database management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
