Your role
As a Buyer Assistant at AirAsia Malaysia, you will have the following duties & responsibilities:
Responsible for administrative works relating to the Duty-Free team
Demand Planning Management
Timely update the SOH and do replenishment
Ensure availability and order of stocks proportionate to merchandise movements
Work closely with suppliers to ensure sufficient stock is allocated to develop sales
Ordering & Inventory Management:
Work closely with the Finance and admin team to manage timely entry and maintenance of purchase orders and final orders
Track the status of orders, shipments, and deliveries
Work closely with the Customs team to ensure shipment arrival and transfer to hub or other AOCs on time
Cart Setting Management:
Work closely with Buyer to load sufficient stock to hit sales target
Work closely with the Warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock catered into a cart
Report
Weekly update SKU inventory record
Monthly update SKU sales performance
Others
Periodic visits to a warehouse to resolve defect issues or aging issues
Develop routine and ad-hoc demand-related reports for management
Other Responsibilities:
Follow the company rules and regulations as stipulated in the Employee Handbook.
Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
To perform any and all other assignments as directed or requested by the Manager
Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and all other departments.
Attend scheduled training programs as directed by the company.

Global Operating Hours are 24 hours by shift (0600H-1300H, 0900H-1900H, 1200H-2100H, 2100H-0600H). About you
To apply for this role, you need to meet the qualifications below:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, fresh graduate is encouraged
Working experience in demand planning and inventory management
Proficient in Google Apps: Docs, Sheets (WPS / Excel), Slides, Forms
Understanding of sales analysis and forecasting method
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferably can communicate and write in English & Chinese
