Your role

As an FGS Technician at AirAsia Malaysia, you will have the responsibilities below:

  • Perform daily inspection for motorized equipment such as vehicles, GPU, GTSU, ACU, Water Cart, and Tractors.
  • Perform the weekly inspection for Non-Motorized equipment such as Maintenance Steps and Waste Cart.
  • To monitor the equipment defect report and liaise with the service provider for rectification plans.
  • To raise defect reports whenever the equipment is found unsatisfactory.
  • To ensure the inspection records are available and safe kept.
  • To ensure the readiness of Airasia Hangar for Aircraft maintenance visits.
  • To perform Facility and General Accommodation monthly inspections for Maintenance Office and Hangar.
  • To monitor the Vehicles AVP validity and to ensure it's sent for renewal before the expiry date.
  • Obtain Airside Driving Permit from the relevant airport authorities.
  • To liaise with AirAsia facility department for any issues related to the maintenance facility.
  • To support line maintenance activity including scheduled maintenance and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Attending scheduled backup as required to support maintenance operations.
  •  Any other task as assigned by the immediate superior.

About you

  • Aircraft Technician with 1-year experience in aircraft maintenance OR fresh graduate with Diploma in an engineering-related discipline in aircraft or automotive maintenance.
