Your role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Technician in maintaining motorized and non-motorized equipment.
- Perform daily inspections on vehicles, GPU, GTSU, ACU, Water Carts, and Tractors.
- Conduct weekly inspections on non-motorized equipment like Maintenance Steps and Waste Carts.
- Monitor equipment defect reports and coordinate with service providers for rectification.
- Raise defect reports for unsatisfactory equipment.
- Maintain and secure inspection records.
- Ensure the readiness of the AirAsia Hangar for aircraft maintenance visits.
- Conduct monthly inspections of Maintenance Office and Hangar facilities.
- Monitor and renew Vehicles AVP before expiry.
- Obtain an Airside Driving Permit from airport authorities.
- Liaise with the AirAsia facility department for maintenance issues.
- Support line maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Attend scheduled backups to support maintenance operations.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior.
About you
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in aircraft maintenance or a diploma in engineering related to aircraft or automotive maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
- Aircraft Technician with 1-year experience in aircraft maintenance OR fresh graduate with a Diploma in engineering-related discipline in aircraft or automotive maintenance.
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
