Your role

AirAsia is looking for a Finance Intern to support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis based in Wisma Tune, KL.

• Work closely on compiling data from all key stakeholders (business and operations team) for weekly forecasting
• Performing variance analysis Actual vs. Budget
• Assist in preparing financial presentations

About you

These are the qualifications you need to have for the role:

• Minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:
  • Strong financial knowledge and technical fluency.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
  • Is a speedster and fast thinker – able to solve problems on the go and adapt quickly.
  • A team player, willing to multitask where additional help is required and communicate well with the team members.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides), and other useful financial software is a plus.
• Qualifications
  • Has/pursuing a degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional Accountancy Qualification (eg: ACCA/CPA Australia/MICPA, ICAEW)
  • Fluency in English and at least another local language is a plus
