Your role

As a Finance Operations Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Provide support to the Operations and Supply Chain Department in managing the daily transactional requests regarding payment and collections.
• Coordinate with Business Development and Relationship Management Team to ensure proper record of account information, account status, orders, payment, and collection information from the Sellers & Buyers.
• Liaise with the group finance AP / AR team to ensure payment is made timely to the sellers and collection from buyers is updated and reflected correctly in our record.
• Assist and provide support to the Payment Executive with consolidation and reporting of financial summary to the group finance team on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for any ad-hoc reporting or projects as assigned by seniors.

About you

As the ideal candidate, you should have met the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Must have the internship module as part of the course completion requirement.
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English both written and spoken.
• Ability to work well in a constantly dynamic environment.
• Can perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Preferably have their own transport to commute to work.
