Your role
As a Procurement Executive at AirAsia Malaysia, you will do the work below:
Functional Responsibility & Duties
Perform Buyer duties for goods and services required by users
Participate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, products, and services on the basis of the ability to meet the company requirements including the quality system and regulatory requirements in accordance with the documented procedures.
Issue Purchase Orders approval and Purchase Orders according to company’s departmental policies and procedures
Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports as needed for the purchases
Support the Senior Procurement Executive to achieve the Procurement Dept’s goals, including savings,
compliance and risk management
Support Senior Procurement Executive to secure compliance of Suppliers to contracted terms &
conditions
Ensure timely issue purchase ordered goods and services for the assigned purchases.
Interface with users to understand needs and deliver continuous value, and a high level of customer service
Support vendor registration process as per the company’s departmental policy
Deliver the needs of any other tasks as instructed and relevant to the role and the Procurement Team

Global Operating Hours are 24 hours by shift (0600H-1300H, 0900H-1900H, 1200H-2100H, 2100H-0600H). Possess a recognized Degree in any field
Fresh graduates in Engineering or those who have internship experience in Procurement are encouraged to apply
Good negotiation and commercial thinking skills, able to understand the procurement process
Able to prioritize, focus, persevere, manage time well, and aim to deliver from start to finish (good project management skills), while being tolerant and having patience with people
Detail-oriented, creative, analytical, and good with numbers and analysis tools (MS Excel/Google Sheets)
