Your role

As a Commercial Buying Intern at Zalora Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

Operates as an Administrative Assistant across Buying & Merchandising, such as:

• Prepare Intake Summary
• Order Form Entry & Upkeep ensuring that all drafts are to ZALORA's required standards
• PO Raising support, troubleshooting with Buying Operations
• Intake management and DIFOT
• Intake Management/ Tracking - Chasing suppliers, updating intake tracker, updating Buyer on any potential issues and movements on orders.
• Production of weekly - Not-Visible Stock Report/ Investigating why a stock is offline.
• Supplier Images - Requesting, & renaming as SKUs, and preparing for retouching and image puller
• Resolving & addressing all product-related queries from production, CS, Logistics, and Content (SKU issues included)

Gathering and Using Relevant Information, such as:

• Participates in monthly comp shop
• Develops cross-departmental links to improve processes and principles
• Produce reports for supplier meetings when required

Assists in the Management of the Supply Chain/ Brand Base, such as:

• Understands the importance of building strong and professionally reciprocal links with suppliers and maintains a professional friendly manner in all circumstances.

About you

To apply for this internship, you have to meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PPT, and Word
• Has a keen interest and experience in Fashion Buying/Fashion Online Management/Fashion Business Development would definitely be a bonus
• Compulsory: Commit to 6 months internship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and takes initiative to learn
