Your role

As a Finance Intern (Procure to Pay) at Zalora Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

• Performing reconciliation of marketplace fees charged between Seller Centre and SAP to ensure financial records are correct and timely resolution for any reconciling items noted.
• Working together with business stakeholders/vendors to resolve issues surrounding marketplace invoices and payments
• Monitoring sellers with debit balances and ensuring timely follow-up for collections
• Retaining invoices and/or relevant correspondence necessary for statutory record-keeping
• Performing weekly bank reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Preparing relevant indirect tax submissions to the authorities
• Supporting Senior Analysts and Managers in gathering relevant information for audit and other ad-hoc duties

About you

To apply for this internship, you have to meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Commerce or working towards Professional Accounting Qualification such as ACCA, MICPA, or CIMA
• Good knowledge and understanding of Finance processes and accounting entry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of Ms. Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
• Pro-active and good team player
• Ability to complete a variety of related tasks
• Mature and able to work independently
