Finance Intern (Record to Report) (Rolling Intake)

Join Zalora as a Finance Intern in Kuala Lumpur, assisting with journal preparation, balance sheet maintenance, and financial reporting.

Your role

Responsibilities

• Prepare and upload journals.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Roll forward balance sheet reconciliation.
• Clear balance sheet open items.
• Track custom duty payments.
• Upload SAP data into the group reporting platform.
• Generate financial reports such as inventory, GIT, intercompany, and deferred liabilities.
• Update, analyze, and adjust inventory data.
• Assist team members with operational tasks.

About you

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Commerce or pursuing a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, MICPA, CIMA).
• Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting entries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle various tasks.
• Commitment to a 6-month internship.
