Your role

As a Price Analyst Intern at Zalora Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

• Perform detailed market research to gather competitor pricing strategies to help with the seller’s sustainable sales growth.
• Monitor category performance and conduct price analysis/comparison to ensure the listing price is at par with marketplace standards for ZALORA to remain competitive.
• Work closely with internal/external stakeholders (Key Account Managers/ Sellers) to manage project communication and coordination.
• Inventory risk management.
• Data entry, filing, and spreadsheet management to update and manage database for merchants.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

About you

To apply for this internship, you have to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong interest and familiarity in the Beauty Industry (Skincare, Fragrance, Hair Care, etc.).
• Possess a strong analytical mind, with the ability to turn complex findings and results into a compelling and narrative set of actions.
• Strong understanding of MS Excel (especially in Pivot Table, Vlookup, etc)
• Should be a self-starter, quick learner, go-getter, proactive, and have the ability to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized multi-tasker with an eye for detail 
• Full professional proficiency in English.
