Public Relation and Social Media Intern (Rolling Intake)

Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and XiaoHongShu.
• Monitor social media channels, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Handle administrative tasks related to social media, such as product loan pullouts.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative ideas for social media campaigns.
• Participate in video shoots as needed.
• Assist in drafting press releases, primarily translating from English to Chinese.
• Support media outreach efforts, including managing press inquiries and scheduling interviews.
• Monitor media coverage and social media conversations related to the organization and industry trends.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the ZTW PRSM Manager on social media and PR activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and public relations.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools for business purposes.
• Basic knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or public relations is a plus.
• Availability for an internship period of at least 3 months.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
