Your role

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

  • Perform Audits to check EHS Compliance at the workplace
  • Perform Audit follow-up to ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Documentation Management: training records, Contractor Work Authorization records, Chemical Register, Safety Data Sheets, Equipment buy-off records, etc.
  • Data Analysis to study trends: near miss or accident trends, waste generation trends, audit findings trends, etc.
  • Assist HSE Engineers with hazard assessment: equipment safety buy-off, coordinate noise monitoring, stormwater sampling, chemical exposure monitoring, etc.
  • Support EHS Campaign events: prepare posters, coordinate games, quizzes, exhibitions, etc.
  • Assis HSE Engineers on other activities as needed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science (Environmental, Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering preferably).  
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
