Your role

This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from DHL's senior experts and work in Airfreight. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience handling actual shipments and learn from experienced professionals.

During this internship, you will be learning from DHL's senior experts. Your daily job scope consists of different areas within the Department of Airfreight.

  • Overall in charge of the day-to-day operations for both systems as well as physical operations.
  • Responsible for driving the department towards achieving Customer targets/KPIs and expectations.
  • Attend and respond to all issues (via e-mails or written correspondences about warehouse operations and ensure all queries are attended to.
  • Responsible for daily planning of the operations.
  • To ensure compliance with customers and other relevant authorities and operating instructions.
  • To ensure two-way communication with the management level.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superiors.

About you

To be successful in this internship, these are the requirements:

  • Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with a minor in Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • It will be an added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
  • Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • This internship location is at Subang Jaya, USJ 25.
