Gain hands-on experience in the Air Freight Department, learning from senior experts at DHL Global Forwarding.

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Create or confirm transport orders, perform bookings, and optimize booking.
  • Prepare, control, and distribute all required Import/Export documents.
  • Identify performance issues of suppliers and propose solutions to improve performance.
  • Update Customs shipment information and physical status, resolve customer issues and incidents.
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team.
  • Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

About you

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Maritime, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with a minor in logistics and supply chain.
  • Part-time experience dealing with customers is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in professional English communication and presentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
