Your role

As an intern, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Support team members in providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul and flights required for hub and operations performance.
• Provide basic administrative support to consolidate, record information, and handle day-to-day shipment documentation
• Draft and assist in reporting on recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
• Under close supervision support AFR product and capacity management methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
• Support team members in timely monitoring and accurate updating of products (track & trace).
• Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
• Any ad-hoc tasks that are assigned by the supervisor.

About you

To be successful in this internship, DHL expects your qualifications to have:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Aviation, Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with a minor in logistics and supply chain.
• It will be an added advantage if individuals have part-time experience dealing with customers.
• Being able to compose, speak, and dress professionally in English.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
