Customer Service Intern (Rolling Intake)

Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Acts as the primary contact for assigned customers.
• Accepts and processes orders for Operations.
• Monitors shipment and exception status for customers.
• Proactively updates customers on shipment status and exceptions.
• Provides spot quotations and engages in up- and cross-selling during inbound calls.
• Passes leads to the Sales team.
• Manages customer inquiries and requests related to Go Green initiatives.
• Addresses customer complaints and assigns tasks for resolution.
• Serves as the initial contact for customer claims, assisting with documentation.
• Develops relationships with customers and participates in joint Sales visits if needed.
• Reviews and sends performance reports to customers.
• Collaborates with Operations and other departments for seamless shipment handling.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in handling customer inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
• Knowledge of logistics and shipment processes is a plus.
• Interest in sustainability and Go Green initiatives.
