Your role

In this role, you will do the work below:

  • Primary function
    • Assisting in consultancy assignments
    • Analysis of business and technical requirements
    • Analysis of impacts of changes to business and/or system
    • Procuring technical specifications from draft or existing design
    • Providing analytical or administrative support to projects that are related to customer business requirements
    • Collaborating with leads in preparing functional requirements for TEST and PRODUCTION releases
  • Secondary function
    • Design and delivery of solutions based on client/customer requirement
    • Collating and coordinating internal team effort requirements for new projects
  • Application you will use
    • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Outlook, SQL Developer, Web Methods (optional)

Training & development

In this Graduate Trainee Program, you will have the opportunity to work in a full-time contract position for 18 months. Regarding the training & development during the program, we don't get any detailed information. However, DHL's HR team has a program that certifies every new joiner as an international specialist, making sure that all its colleagues have a deep understanding of the company, business model, vision, values, and culture. What you need to apply for this role:

  • Recognized Degree in IT: Information Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, Data Analytics or relevant fields
  • Above 3.0 CGPA / Second Class Upper (Hons)
  • Less than 1 year of working experience
  • Highly self-motivated team player with good analytical and conceptual thinking, results-driven with initiative and good negotiation skills
  • An all-rounded individual with a deep interest in the IT industry who enjoys challenges and strives to work with professionals in the IT industry globally
  • Able to quickly absorb professional knowledge, good in problem-solving, strives to contribute for greater/team benefits and natural leadership acumen
  • Eagerness to take responsibility for complex processes and ability to multitask
  • Able to take instructions and be guided on countries' onboarding assignments
  • Good understanding and analysis skills in resolving application/Business problems 
  • Uphold professionalism and excellent work ethics 
  • Ensures facts and figures are correct in all communications
  • Excellent verbal plus written English
