Your role

As an intern in DHL's  Air Freight and Customer Service team, you are able to:

  • Maintain compliance with customers and other relevant authorities.
  • Be responsible for daily operations and planning for both systems and physical operations.
  • Be responsible for validation of custom process/documentation to ensure cargo met the regulations.

To achieve the above learning outcome, you are expected to take the challenge as below:

  • Attending and responding to any inquiries via email correspondences pertaining to shipment status and documentation.
  • Involvement in the daily planning of the operations under supervision.
  • Learning 'How to' communicate with internal and external stakeholders on tasks status.

Training & development

The regular working hours at the head office are from 08:30 AM to 08:30 PM or 9 hours long which usually has a 1-hour break for lunch. About you

To be selected as one of DHL's people, the company is expecting the below applications:

  • At least a Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Aviation Management or any equivalent academic background.
  • Candidate must be skillful in communicating with stakeholders.
  • It is an advantage for those who can speak and write fluent English as the positions require to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Able to commit at most a 6-month internship in June/July 2023 and to be based at Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri.

DHL welcomes student who is able to join the HR team June/July 2023 onwards. Only 1 lucky student will be chosen.
