Job description

This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You will learn from our senior experts and work in Ocean Freight. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various department areas and learn from experienced professionals.

During this internship, you will be learning from our senior experts. Your daily job scope consists of different areas within the Department of Ocean Freight.

  • To support Key-Customer Control Tower daily reporting by liaising with Customer Services & Reporting.
  • Manage & Coordinate with DHL counterparts for shipment monitoring to achieve on-time performance.
  • Working with Internal stakeholders (Customer Services, Custom Brokage, etc.) to ensure the report's accuracy. 
  • Support Control Tower team to prepare all reports with Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Attention to detail, and able to communicate via email. 
  • Any ad-hoc tasks that are assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

To be successful in this internship, we expect your qualifications to have the following:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or Business Studies with a minor in Logistics and supply chain.
  • It will be an added advantage if individuals have part-time experience dealing with customers.
  • Being able to compose, speak, and dress professionally in English.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • This internship is located at Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

We welcome students with 6 months of internships to apply with us! Successful candidates will be provided an internship allowance monthly.
