Your role

Management Trainee Program is an open opportunity for young talents (in particular fresh graduates) who is eager to learn and explore the Logistics Industry. We are The Freight Forwarding Expert since 1815, and we are opening a challenging and practical-centric learning environment for future talents. This program is built to prepare you to take future leadership roles by undergoing 2 rotational assignments within and/or across different functions. 

Selected Management Trainee will have the opportunity:

• Be exposed to mentorship and networking opportunities with Senior Management Team which broadens your perspectives and sharpens your creative thinking.
• Work on real business projects with industry experts and participate in cross-departmental projects to have exposure to how freight forwarding operates.
• Receive ongoing career coaching and on-the-job training in functions and operations of related departments to gain skills, knowledge, and certification to support you in accelerating your career path. 

Training & development

In this Management Trainee Program, you will get ongoing career coaching and on-the-job training in functions and operations of related departments to gain skills, knowledge, and certification to support you in accelerating your career path. Through DHL people practices, the company will help you realize your full potential by accessing in-site training programs, an online platform portal, loads of on-the-job training, and the chance to gain certifications for your role. 

Career progression

By joining this Management Trainee Program, you will have the opportunity to work in a full-time contract position for 24 months. It will prepare you to take future leadership roles by undergoing 2 rotational assignments within and/or across different functions. 

Work-life balance

The regular working hours at the head office are from 08:30 AM to 08:30 PM or 9 hours long which usually has a 1-hour break for lunch. In addition, to provide a better work-life balance, DHL also allows you to choose any day for your vacation from earned public holidays (Saturday and ad hoc) and to have home-office possibilities.

About you

DHL is in search of talents with endless energy and great interest to learn and built their career in the Logistics Industry and who possess:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any related course from a reputable and recognized University.
• Less than two years of working experience and fresh graduates are highly encouraged to join us!
• Individual able to articulate well with excellent written and communication skills. Importantly, proficiency in English and Malaysian Language is required.
• A person who adapts is creative, decisive, initiative, and good analytical to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. 
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to Penang/Johor/Subang Jaya during this 24-month program.
