Ocean Freight Commercial Centre Intern (Rolling Intake)

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Serve as the point of contact for Country Global Bid Teams, providing rates and ocean freight expertise for bid responses.
• Escalate issues to Procurement/DANMAR LINES as needed, especially for larger bids involving FCL and LCL.
• Align country-level capacity procurement and management with Corporate Carrier Strategy.
• Collaborate with Country Carrier contacts to resolve operational issues.
• Provide regular feedback on carrier performance to Procurement.
• Generate statistical reports for Country Ocean Freight Management/Procurement.

About you

Ideal candidates will have:

• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Maritime, Transportation, or Business Studies with a minor in logistics and supply chain.
• Part-time experience dealing with customers is advantageous.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English professionally.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
