Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Plan and coordinate ocean freight shipments from origin to destination.
  • Book cargo space with carriers and arrange for pickup and delivery of goods.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor, measure, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendor performance, ensuring adherence to defined service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Handle import and export documentation and procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipping, tracking, and documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and documentation.

About You

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A diploma and/or degree in Logistics, Maritime, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with a minor in logistics and supply chain.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
